Job Title: ACRO ViSOR Analyst : HC616736 Location: Near Fareham Salary: SO1, GBP 33,915 : GBP 35,982 per annum Hours: 37 hours per week Contract: Permanent Closing Date: Tuesday 4th June 2024 at 23.59 hours We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join us as an ACRO ViSOR Analyst, within a national policing unit. About the role You will work as part of a team providing intelligence and safeguarding functions relating to the management of sex offenders convicted overseas with a UK footprint or those that otherwise present a sexual risk to others. You will be responsible for creating, co:ordinating and case managing relevant sex offender records and to work with stakeholders to ensure appropriate onward offender management by UK Police Forces. Your work will support the prevention and detection of crime, and to safeguard vulnerable members of society in the UK and across the world. As a ViSOR analyst you will have access to a number of databases and national systems to help track and identify individuals who pose a risk to others in order to bring them under effective risk management.
