Description Two sub adult Hypancistrus sp. L066 approximately 4-5ins which I believe to be both male. They are very elusive spending most of the time hidden in the rockwork and slate caves coming out mostly during the night under a blue light and also to feed readily during daylight hours although they are very sensitive to disturbance. They have both been well looked after and fed on a mixed diet of courgette, peas, new era algae pellets, muscle, cockle, shrimp, prawn, crayfish Will need a nice large mature tank with soft low pH water loads of hiding places would prefer these to be brought by a breeder due to the rarity of these species and the likelyhood that they will soon become an endangered species in the wild due to habitat destruction. I am pretty sure that these are male fish although they are only about 2-3 years old originally wild caught before the import ban. Due to the increasing rarity and high value of these fish I would like 50 each or 90 for both fish although sensible offers may be considered. These would be the perfect accompaniment to any breeding group, just add females and these guys are ready to go I can also throw in 3 slate breeding caves to any buyer.
