Description:
Aluminium Fish tank from Denmark made by Akva-Stabil being the Effect-Line tank, and was specially ordered into the country for me. The stand was purpose made to order and is painted steel. The tank dimensions are 130 long x 50 x 50 cm, with a 333 litre capacity or 73 gals. The two daylight tubes are integral to the top, with the lighting boss included. It is possible to add a 3rd parabola and tube. The inflow to the tank is via a sprinkler bar which also aerates the water The tank was fitted with three rock-face backdrops prior to set-up, as were two areas on the floor of the tank, one for gravel for plant roots to establish, and one for sand for burrowing, elephant fish and the like. The external filter unit is a Fluval 404. The hoses have been replaced with EHEIM 16 22mm hoses. There are also three various capacity sized air pumps. All the original instruction manuals are included, as are various hose fittings and clips. There are also two timed feeders, useful for holidays. Also included will be bogwood, ornamental rocks, plants, heater and reference books. Fish included will be a 12 plec two 5 clown loach, these are close pals, and go to sleep together lying on their sides, very cute a 4 pearl gourami a 4 deep x 4 long angel fish a 5 algae eater 2 vivid blue mating rainbow-fish and several other smaller fish including a flying fox. I am also including my small isolation tank which has a power head in addition a Fluval 2 internal filter unit.Spare filter media, food and chemical treatments products are included. The reason for the sale is that I am finding it difficult to handle the general maintenance. The total approximate value of this set up has been in the region of 1,500. I would be pleased to receive somewhere in the region of 500, however, no sensible offer refused.
